The Power of Partnership

Currently the federal contracting marketplace is going through an almost unprecedented combination of tough times. Changes in technology, mission priority shifts necessitated by rapidly changing world conditions, and of course the impending threat of sequestration. These might force a company to re-trench and look inward in an attempt to stabilize and protect their business base. ARServices sees this as a time of opportunity. Customer budget cuts will force the need to examine new solutions and innovative methods to deliver and acquire services. There may not be much “new work” available in the market but this additional level of competition will create new opportunities for prepared companies to win business and gain market share.

To respond to this additional level of competition federal contracting companies will have to meet the market differently and have additional capabilities, relevant performance, and acquisition vehicles. Increasing the level of partnering is a method to do this. ARServices has reached out to existing partners such as TASC and AT&T to mutually enhance the successful relationships we currently enjoy. ARServices also has an SBA approved Mentor – Protégé agreement with Sabre Systems, and are actively examining other approaches, alliances and joint venture agreements.

ARServices Awarded First 8(a) Contract, Expands Customer Base

Alexandria, VA. – January 22, 2013 – Within months of receiving U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) certification, ARServices was awarded its first 8(a) contact. The three-year contract supports the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) and its roughly 2,750 civilian employees located in Washington, D.C., Stennis Space Center, MS and Monterey, CA. Under the contract, ARServices will provide the NRL’s Human Resource Office with technical and management services including:

Technical program coordination support
Expert analysis of government job functions
Employment classification, compensation and workforce planning and analysis
Employee relations and development support
Administrative and data management services

In addition to these functions, ARServices will:

Canvass, collect and perform data analysis for projects that are designed to develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of new human capital management policies
Perform occupational analysis and research studies
Provide training guidelines, requirements and project management for key initiatives

ARServices Relocates Corporate HQ

Alexandria, VA – October 1, 2012 – ARServices is pleased to announce the relocation of our corporate headquarters to the One Beltway Center building, at 5904 Richmond Highway, Suite 550, Alexandria, VA 22303. This is a larger facility, better equipped, and more centrally located, with improved access to all our Washington, D.C., area customers and partners. Our new location is close to mass transportation such as the Huntington Metro stop on the yellow line and within minutes of National and BWI airports. This relocation was driven by the growth and expansion of the company and will allow us to be more responsive to our customers, partners, and employees.
